Cultural activities

Whole School: Both the Prep and the High School participate in the Alberton Eisteddfod, which include categories for poetry, prose, choral verse, singing and art. We also take part in various Public Speaking Competitions.

High School: In addition to Public Speaking, High School learners also have the opportunity to participate in debating and the dramatic society (House Plays and Major Production). In 2010 the school put on The Sound of Music as its first Major Production.

Major Production 2010: The Sound of Music

Our first Major Production, the Sound of Music, a classic Rodgers & Hammerstein musical, was held at the end of the second term in 2010. The production was a great success - thanks to all the cast and staff involved for doing a tremendous job!
