Waterstone College's 1st Cricket and Tennis teams enjoyed a hugely successful tour of England during the July holidays, with both teams playing excellently against some of the top schools in England.
Anton van Dam was the standout cricketer, with 370 runs at an average of 53, including a century and three 50s, while Jarred Lachenicht took 16 wickets in the 7 games. The tennis team all did exceptionally well, winning six of their seven games.<!--break-->
Tennis
Tennis is virtually a year-round sport at the College, with high levels of participation from the Pre-Primary all the way up to High School level. The Boys Senior team have won their leagues in 2008 and 2009.
We use both internal and external coaches, all of whom have a high level of coaching qualifications. In 2011 the High School's first team will be touring England.
