Athletics Results

Congratulations to our athletes, who performed phenomenally well at the SACSSA National Championsips at King's Park, Durban, on the 18th and 19th of September. No less than 40 athletes qualified for Nationals, and our school secured no less than 19 medals, in both track and field events.

 

Bronze medals were won by Dylan Stark, Jarrod Esson, Sage Bannister (2), Kaylin Krupke (2), Daniella Seabra, Genarize Du Plessis, Jordan Sutherland, Darrel Long, James Elliot, Anton Van Dam and Savanna Knight. Silver medals were won by Ricardo Vasapolli, Keegan Moody and Tristan Wallace, and 3 gold medals by Anton Van Dam, Sage Bannister and Tayla Voget. Well done to all involved!

 

Hockey Results

The hockey season has ended very successfully, with the Junior Boys losing just one game, and the Junior Girls unbeaten. Highlights included victories for the Boys over numerous first teams. Well done, boys and girls!

Netball Results

Our netball season is underway, and on May 6th our teams took on Yeshiva College. The Under 16s and the Under 14A and B sides both won, with the Under 15s scoring a 5-5 draw. Well done, girls!

Soccer Results

The soccer season is over at High school level: congratulations to our Under 14 and Under 15 sides who both won their leagues. The Under 14s won 7 of their 8 games, and the under 15s lost just twice.

After a very successful season at Prep level, it is just the Under 9s who are still playing, having beaten KEPS 1-0 to get through to the semi-finals of the Knockout Cup. The Under 10s did well to reach the quarter finals.

Touch Rugby Results

This year we have entered five teams into the Johannesburg schools touch league, up from 2 in 2008, and the first two weekends have seen some good results, with victories over Parktown and Greenside, and draws with St Martins, Vryburger and Greenside.

High School Cricket Results: 1st Term 2010

We are proud of all our high school teams for winning all five games on Saturday 13 February against St Peters, with the Firsts winning by 107 runs and taking their record for the season so far to play 6, won 5, and lost 1 - the Johnny Waite Quarter Final match. They have now lost just one of their last 20 matches since March 2009! <!--break-->
