LTAD

One of the unique approaches that Waterstone College brings into the educational arena is our unique LTAD programme.

LTAD stands for Long Term Athletic Development, and is a structured, monitored system which oversees the physical development of every learner from Grade 0 all the way through to Grade 12.

LTAD includes the development of agility, balance, co-ordination, speed and stamina, mainly during sports practices and physical education lessons at school, and will ensure that by the time learners are able to decide what sports they want to specialise in, they are well equipped to succeed.

By High School, we identify the most promising and committed sportsmen and -women and enrol them in our High Performance Programme (for more information, please click on the High Performance Programme link on the right).
